Meta found footage Found footage has to get around the problem of "why are they still filming" and there are various approaches to it. This one takes on a very literal movie-making approach, with all its tropes borrowed from the making of the Blair Witch, and its lesser successors. This movie isn't bad, but it certainly is not as engaging, and thus not as scary, as something which did not delve into its own meta-narrative and would, instead, focus on the actual horror-elements.
